"Jamie and his crew arrived on the scheduled date on time. Their friendliness, professionalism and expertise was clearly evident and I would highly recommend Timber Creek to anyone looking to have a tree removed."

Mature urban forest, heritage properties and a real private tree by-law — we handle the permit question first.
Burlington has one of the most mature urban forests in the region, and it is also one of the few municipalities in our service area with a genuine private tree by-law. That combination means the first conversation about a Burlington removal is usually about permits, not chainsaws.
Roseland, Shoreacres and Aldershot carry very large heritage-scale trees — 80 to 100 years old in places — on properties where a single limb failure can do more damage than an entire smaller tree elsewhere. Newer communities like Millcroft, Headon Forest, Orchard and Tyandaga have dense subdivision plantings now reaching maturity together.
Jamie confirms the by-law position for your specific property during the free on-site estimate, before any work is scheduled. Fully insured, WSIB compliant, ISA certified.
Burlington's private tree by-law applies city-wide to private property, with a diameter threshold and a permit process — so the removal has to be legally cleared before it is booked. We handle that conversation up front rather than discovering it on the day.
The trees themselves are large. Heritage-scale maples and oaks in Roseland and Aldershot are close to structures, close to mature landscaping and often close to a neighbour's property line, which makes controlled sectional dismantling the only responsible method. Lakefront properties add Lake Ontario wind exposure, and ravine lots near Bronte Creek add conservation authority considerations.
Jamie visits your Burlington property personally, assesses the tree and the access, and answers the permit question before anything is booked.
A clear, itemized price with no pressure and no obligation — what you are quoted is what you pay.
Drop zones, rigging points and surface protection are planned before the first cut. Emergencies are prioritized ahead of scheduled work.
ISA certified, fully insured, WSIB compliant crew — sectional dismantling and controlled lowering where the site demands it.
Debris removed, surfaces swept and the site left as we found it. Stump grinding available at the same visit.

Very possibly, yes. Burlington's Private Tree By-law regulates removal of private trees at or above a set trunk diameter across the city, with an application process and replacement conditions. Smaller trees, hazardous trees and genuine emergencies are handled differently. Confirm with the City, or call Jamie and he will confirm for your property before anything is booked.
We will tell you clearly whether your tree is likely to be regulated, what the City will want to see, and what condition the tree is actually in — an honest arborist assessment is usually the core of the application.
Yes — Roseland, Aldershot, Shoreacres, LaSalle, Millcroft, Headon Forest, Orchard, Tyandaga and the rest of the city.
Situations involving immediate risk to life or property are treated differently from planned removals. Call us — we will tell you honestly whether it is an emergency and advise on notifying the City.
